FAQs

Can I use my insurance?

Health insurance is super confusing. Often it’s hard to know exactly what is and is not covered. ICAN! connects you to trusted providers who can help you navigate insurance.

What if I don’t have insurance?

ICAN! provider partners offer low or no cost birth control ensuring the cost of your visit is based on what you can afford to pay!

What if my insurance doesn’t cover contraceptive care? What if I don’t feel safe using my insurance?

If your insurance does not cover birth control, ICAN! Quality Hub partners have sliding scales which means you may be asked to pay a certain amount based on how much you make. Nobody will ever be turned away due to inability to pay.

If you have confidentiality concerns and cannot use your private insurance without emotional or mental stress/harm, or are a young person coming to an appointment without an adult, please share this concern when you make an appointment.

Those with Medicaid MCOs (CountyCare, Aetna, Meridian, Molina, and Blue Cross Community) have full confidential coverage for birth control, regardless of your network or medical home.
