Contraceptive screening and STI/HIV prevention and education should always go hand-in-hand. Yet these conversations and services are not routinely happening in the primary and perinatal care setting, preventing people from achieving their optimal reproductive health outcomes and widening the disparity gap.

Learn how providers working across the maternal, sexual, and reproductive health continuum can de-silo and normalize sexual and reproductive health conversations to advance reproductive well-being.

Learning Objectives:

  • Methods to integrate routine screening for contraceptive needs and desires alongside STI/ HIV prevention and education for people of reproductive age.
  • STI prevention tools such as PrEP, PEP, and vaccines for pregnant and non-pregnant patients.
  • Coverage for primary and preventive care, including contraception and STI/HIV services with the relatively new HFS Family Planning Program.
