Aoife O’Connor

As ICAN! Program Manager, Aoife leads training, technical assistance, and continuous quality improvement efforts with community health center partners to strengthen access to high-quality, person-centered sexual and reproductive health care. Aoife began her career at Planned Parenthood North Central States where she managed two safety net family planning clinics in northern Minnesota. Since then, she brings 15 years of experience working across state, national, and global sexual and reproductive health programming, most recently working at the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs on USAID-funded programs where she led knowledge exchange, digital learning, and partner engagement initiatives for family planning and reproductive health professionals around the world. Aoife received her Master of Public Health from UNC Gillings, alongside two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Gender & Sexuality Studies and International Studies.
