Abbigail Shirk MPA, JD

Abbigail is driven by a deep passion for women’s autonomy and choice, and is dedicated to advocating for equitable systems access and well-being across communities. Prior to joining ICAN! Abbigail worked on the Harris-Walz campaign in voter protection. Previously, she was a supervising attorney at MetroWest Legal Services, where she specialized in intimate partner violence and family law. Abbigail has worked in non-profit organizations for ten years in a range of disciplines including community services and legal aid. Her ability to understand client needs, apply a multidisciplinary approach, and use a trauma informed lens sets her apart. Abbigail received her Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and her Juris Doctorate from New England Law | Boston.
